Alfa Edel Pils

A peculiar can of Dutch Lager -- the likes of which I'll only see at Trader Joes, I suspect!

I saw sixers of this (6x500mL cans, that is) at Trader Joes, but not your typical sixer. Rather, six cans shrink-wrapped together in pastic. Not the first time I've seen this, but only for a few [European] beer brands.

Anyway, got this nice and cold, and popped the top. No skunk of course -- no way U/V rays are getting to this Euro-pop!

Not much aroma to speak of. Rather clean in the body, and very easy to get this down the hatch. Some residual sweetness in the backend, but nothing that I find repulsive.

Perhaps not all that "Pilsener-ish", since it could use a shot in the arm in the hop department. But still, not bad. Rather, I thought this was rather tasty. A very easy drinkin', easy poundin' Lager, from a part of the world that seems to specialize in fairly shitty Euro-schwills!

Much better than the $0.60 I paid for this. :) Recommended
