Batemans Combined Harvest Multigrain Beer

A brewery I've heard of for a long time, but the first time I've seen `em.

Bottle says this is a Target and Phoenix hopped beer. The former I'm somewhat familiar with, the later not at all. But whatever is going on here, I'm digging it. Nicely earthy and fruit-ish in the nose -- almost an apricot vibe in the nose, and carried over to the flavor profile. Maybe a peach thing going on, too.

That's not all to say this is a fruit beer, of course, but it's just that the hops and the interesting malt bill all play quite nicely off each other. Very easy to drink this -- and at a mild 4.7%ABV, easy to make a session out of this alone.

Hard to say what the four-way malt bill does for this beer, except to say that I like this quite a bit. Very more-ish, and worth a shot if your at all a fan of the English way of doing (brewing?) business.
