2008 -- "Early Spring Beer"

Not a horrible way of drawing on the ESB name, while also giving it a fresh(er) twist.

But...., it's just seems a shame to me that Sierra Nevada had a golden opportunity to make a kick-ass English-style Bitter, and screwed the pooch.

Grabbed a sixer today -- already pounded down one, and I have a second one sitting in my Russian River pint glass as I type this.

A more in-depth review is forthcoming. But really? This is a Jim Dandy/hum-dinger of an American Pale Ale. Reminds me of the SN Torpedo, which has been my O'Brien's staple since it first hit the streets.
