Jackman's American Pale Ale

I always think it's weird how I don't see any Left Hand Brewing Co. beers on the West Coast -- but can't swing a dead cat on the East Coast without running into `em!

Case-in-point: the liquor store in Virgina Beach VA that seemingly had every Left Hand product out there. And while they've never knocked my socks off, their beers have been fairly solid.

Same-same here, with their American Pale Ale offering. Label has a motorcycle&leather motif -- with a chopper superimposed over a map, centered over Colorado (`natch).

A nice and clean livin' Pale Ale, with just the right amount of citric "snap" in the hop profile to matter. No lingering stickiness in the back of the mouth out-lasting it's welcome either -- just a nice clean malt profile, that doesn't try to re-invent the (beer) wheel.

If this were available in SoCal, I could see this supplanting my usual sixers of Deschutes and Bridgeport on occasion.
