Roza Reserve

While I was only introduced to this brewery only a scant few weeks ago, I still can't help but feel a bit let down by this one. Minimal carbonation, not a lot in the way of aroma, and very little going for it in terms of taste or complexity. Where is the hearty alcoholic feel, or big-ass malt, or huge balancing hops? All I detect is what amounts to basically a very big Pale Ale. Here's a hint: doubling the malt bill of a Pale Ale recipe doesn't make it a Barleywine.

Reminds me of a Sierra Nevada Bigfoot that hasn't neccesarily been watered down, but has just been over-simplified.

Not nearly enough complexity for the style. I wanted to like this, but there just wasn't much to this, either pro or con.
