Topvar Premium Pils Beer

(Ahem, speaking of nice "tops"!)

Well, I certianly expected worse from this, especially after glancing at the remarks of folks who have reviewed this beer already. But to be honest, I've certianly had worse beers.

A sweet/metallic twang to the finish knocks the drinkability and mouthfeel down a bit, and the appearence and aroma are certinaly nothing to rave about either. But for the flavor profile, there's enough semi-interesting things going on with this beer that I (grudginly) can approve. Hey, I'm generous when I want to be, eh...?

A typical sub-par Green Bottled Euro-Lager -- this was just happens to come from the less glamorous eastern half of what used to be Czechloslovakia. I would pass on this, if I were you.
